My name is Christopher Bazan and I am the founder of Explore Beyond Your Limits. I have been a part of the disabled community for 27 years. I was shot when I was just five years old and have been in a wheelchair ever since. I started these outings because we needed more fun for the kids.

I put together this group because I know what it is like to feel left out and alone. When I was growing up, there weren’t a lot of activities or events that were accessible to people with disabilities, except for a once-a-year camp. I didn’t want these individuals to feel the same way I did, stuck at home, isolated from the world.

I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to have fun and create memories. That’s why we organize so many different events and activities. We’ve gone to football games, the zoo, the aquarium, and the natural history museum. We’ve gone fishing and to baseball games. It’s always exciting to see the smiles on our members’ faces when they’re having a good time.

Explore Beyond Your Limits has also given me the opportunity to connect with other people who are also living with disabilities, and showing them that there is so much more to life!

same disabilities as me. They’ve taken us to a football game,the zoo, the aquarium, a baseball

Explore beyond your limits has helped me so much. By making me not feel so alone because
where I live there aren't really kids that have disabilities. Or are in wheelchairs like me. But when
we go on outings I get to see other kids that are like me. All the outings we go on are always so
exciting and fun. If it wasn't for Explore beyond your limits we wouldn't be able to go on the
outings we go on. And for that I am so thankful to be part of this amazing group.

Explore beyond your limits helps me make friends that I can relate to. The events that I go to are fun and cool. My favorite event was going to the aquarium. The dining room had a huge aquarium with sharks and stingrays and other cool fish. I loved petting the stingrays and having ice cream with Chris. I love making friends and going on adventures.

My name is Dominick and I'm pretty new to the group. Being welcomed by others like me was exciting! Me and my new friends get to go out with our families and have fun doing activities and seeing new things. Being with my friends and family gives me confidence and happiness doing things!

I love the group because I get to make friends and hang out with them. I get to spend time with Chris who is really fun to be around with. I like all the places we get to visit and explore with all my friends in the group. Helps me get out of my comfort zone and helps me get used to being around other friends
